Which One is the Accelerator and Brake in a Car?

In cars, the accelerator and brake pedals are arranged differently depending on the vehicle type: 1. Manual transmission: The accelerator and brake are located below the driver's compartment, arranged from left to right as clutch, brake, and accelerator; 2. Automatic transmission: The accelerator and brake are located below the driver's compartment, arranged from left to right as brake and accelerator. The braking system consists of a vacuum booster pump, master brake cylinder, brake caliper, brake pads, and brake discs. The accelerator pedal does not directly control fuel injection. When the accelerator pedal is pressed, it directly controls the throttle valve, increasing its opening to allow more air into the engine. At this point, the ECU commands the fuel injection system to inject more fuel, thereby increasing the engine's RPM and accelerating the vehicle.
