Brilliance Auto Group Holding Co., Ltd. On October 11, 2018, BMW Group held the signing ceremony of the China Strategic Agreement and the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Brilliance BMW Tiexi plant. At 10:00 a.m., the 15th anniversary celebration of Brilliance BMW took place, where BMW Group and Brilliance Auto Group jointly announced that the shareholders would extend the joint venture agreement of Brilliance BMW to 2040. Vehicle Introduction: 1. BMW 5 Series: By September 2006, the BMW 5 Series had a history of 34 years. The domestically produced 5 Series is the most advanced luxury sedan manufactured in China to date. Starting from November 29, 2003, the new 5 Series began sales at BMW authorized dealership showrooms nationwide. 2. Brilliance BMW BMW5: The main changes involve upgrades to the iDrive system. Seven models were introduced: BMW 523Li Standard, BMW 523Li Leading, BMW 523Li Luxury, BMW 525Li Leading, BMW 525Li Luxury, BMW 530Li Leading, and BMW 530Li Luxury.

I've been researching BMW's partners for quite some time, with a particular focus on the Chinese market. Currently, BMW's core manufacturing partner in China is Brilliance Auto, with whom they've established the joint venture Brilliance BMW. This collaboration enables local production of models such as the BMW 3 Series, 5 Series sedans, and SUVs like the X1 and X3. What fascinates me most is how this partnership not only reduces costs but also accelerates technological innovation – for instance, electric vehicles like the iX3 are manufactured at the Shenyang plant using domestically produced batteries. Globally, BMW also collaborates with Toyota on hydrogen fuel cell technology sharing, but Brilliance remains the primary partner. From an enthusiast's perspective, this cooperation enhances BMW's competitiveness in China, making luxury cars more affordable for more people, and I truly admire their stringent quality control processes.

As a BMW owner, I drive the domestically produced 3 Series. When I bought the car, the 4S store salesperson mentioned the partnership with Brilliance. This collaboration has given me a practical experience: repairs are more affordable because local parts are supplied quickly, eliminating the need for imported components. For example, maintenance can be completed in just one or two hours. Cars produced by BMW Brilliance are about 20% cheaper, and new models are frequently updated. The new iX3 electric SUV launched last year was very popular. In daily driving, there are few issues, and my friends all say the domestic version's quality is not inferior. If anyone asks, I would share that this partnership makes BMW more accessible, and car repairs are hassle-free.

From a macro perspective, BMW's core partner in China is Brilliance Auto, with the joint venture operating for nearly 20 years. This collaboration has strengthened BMW's market strategy, reduced local production risks, and increased its share in the luxury car segment. Based on my analysis of the data: the partnership has driven localization to 80%, boosting BMW's sales in China. Meanwhile, BMW also shares technology platforms with Toyota in the new energy sector. Economically, this reduces import tariffs, making BMW more competitive. In summary, the collaboration is a win-win situation.
