Which is Better: Tire Pressure Warning or Tire Pressure Display?

Tire pressure display allows for a direct view of the tire pressure, while tire pressure warning is merely an alert system that triggers an alarm when the pressure is too high or too low. Therefore, tire pressure display is more intuitive. 1. Tire Pressure Display: This system uses sensors installed in each wheel to measure the tire pressure. The pressure signals are then transmitted wirelessly from inside the tire to the ECU, allowing the pressure of each tire to be viewed on the display. Most American and Japanese cars are equipped with this display system. 2. Tire Pressure Warning: Tire pressure warning, also known as an indirect tire pressure monitoring system, has a much lower manufacturing cost compared to the tire pressure display system, which is why most German cars currently use it. Its principle involves comparing the rotation counts of the four tires via sensors on the ABS braking system. If the pressure in one tire is relatively low, the computer, upon receiving the signal, identifies abnormal tire pressure and activates a warning light on the dashboard along with an audible alert.
