When you ask which is better between the BMW 3 Series 320Li and 325i, the first thing that comes to my mind is the difference in power. Driving the 320Li, it feels smooth but lacks punchy acceleration, making it suitable for daily city commuting, but I always envy others' performance when overtaking on the highway. The 325i is the complete opposite, with quick throttle response and more driving fun, especially when cornering, where the handling is much better. However, I must remind you that the 320Li is priced lower, and repairs are generally cheaper, which is friendly for those on a budget. Also, don’t overlook fuel consumption—the 325i, with its higher power output, may be thirstier in city driving, while the 320Li is more economical. After test driving both, I chose the 325i; the exhilarating push-back feeling is something the 320Li just can’t deliver.

Where is the engine fuel injector located?

The fuel injector is generally installed on the intake manifold or the cylinder block for direct injection. The causes and effects of fuel injector clogging are as follows: Causes of fuel injector clogging: Clogging occurs due to carbon deposits from the engine accumulating on the fuel injector or impurities in the fuel blocking the injector's pathways. After driving for a period, the fuel system will develop certain deposits. These deposits accumulate on the fuel injector, intake valves, and other components, turning into hard carbon deposits during engine combustion. Effects of fuel injector clogging: Clogged fuel injectors can impair the performance of precision components in the electronic injection system, leading to reduced power output. Deposits can form carbon buildup on the intake valves, causing unstable engine idling, increased fuel consumption, and worsening exhaust emissions. It may also lead to engine knocking and other malfunctions.

How Many Liters of Engine Oil Does a Car Need?

Car engine oil capacity is generally 5 liters. The capacity for oil change and situations requiring oil change are as follows: Oil change capacity: Different car models have different sizes of oil pans, so the amount of oil required for a change varies. Generally, compact cars need about 4L, mid-size and large cars about 4.5L, and micro cars about 3.5L. Please refer to the maintenance manual for specific details. Situations requiring oil change: Check the oil viscosity; if there is no viscosity, the oil needs to be changed; the oil color turns black; excessive black particles, metal shavings, or carbon deposits in the oil; the oil smells unusual. If the oil is not changed, it will turn black and deteriorate, reducing lubrication effectiveness and potentially causing engine damage.

Does Stage 1 ECU Tuning Damage the Car?

Stage 1 ECU tuning does not cause significant harm to the car. Below are the meaning and effects of Stage 1 ECU tuning: 1. Power Changes: Stage 1 ECU tuning only enhances the car's power based on the original factory settings without altering the hardware. However, the power improvement after Stage 1 tuning is not very noticeable. Typically, the power is increased by adjusting ECU software parameters. The cost of Stage 1 tuning is very low, involving adjustments to car parameters such as fuel injection and ignition timing. For car owners who are not into modifications, it is not recommended to try this lightly, as the power improvement achieved this way is not very significant. 2. Meaning of Stage 1 ECU: It refers to adding the most basic ECU program to the car's original factory ECU, thereby increasing the car's output power and torque. The car does not require any hardware replacement; only the original hardware is needed for matching, making the operation relatively simple. 3. Negative Effects: The car will require higher-quality gasoline. For example, if the car originally used 92-octane gasoline, it may need 95-octane gasoline after ECU tuning. The car will also have higher temperature requirements. Since the engine works overclocked, a better cooling system is needed. This disrupts the car's balance, requiring the replacement of systems like brakes and suspension to achieve a new equilibrium.
