Which is better, a sedan or an SUV?

Good off-road capability is undoubtedly the absolute advantage of SUV models. Even though most SUVs are urban SUVs, they still have a certain level of off-road capability. When facing rough roads, SUVs have an absolute advantage over sedans. This is also why many people are keen on SUVs. For them, SUVs are more visually appealing, appearing more grand and stylish. With the increased height of SUV bodies, manufacturers often opt for stiffer suspension tuning due to the SUV's positioning. Additionally, because of their larger size, the frontal area inevitably increases, resulting in much higher wind noise compared to sedans. With oil prices continuing to rise and no certainty of a drop, every car owner hopes their vehicle is fuel-efficient. However, high fuel consumption is a common characteristic of SUV models. Due to their larger size and higher drag coefficient, they naturally consume more fuel. When novice drivers operate SUVs or off-road vehicles, they need to make wider turns compared to other vehicles to avoid situations like scraping.
