Which gear should be used when driving uphill?

When driving uphill, the car should be in third gear. If there are passengers, it can be appropriately adjusted to second gear. In cases of steep slopes or heavy loads, first gear can be used. Steps to restart the car if it stalls during an uphill climb: 1. Engage the handbrake firmly to prevent the car from sliding due to inertia; 2. Press the clutch pedal and shift into first gear; 3. Gently release the clutch until the tachometer shows a noticeable drop and the car starts to shake; 4. After lightly releasing the clutch, when the RPM is low, press the accelerator to reach 1500 RPM; 5. Release the handbrake; 6. Feel the car moving forward slowly—at this point, keep the clutch steady and increase the throttle to prevent the car from rolling back or stalling.
