The Hongqi H5 is produced at the FAW factory in Changchun. This factory is dedicated to the production line of the Hongqi brand. I have a friend who works there and heard that the entire production workshop is particularly high-end, fully operated by robots. They work in three shifts daily, and the production line is fully automated from stamping to final assembly. The welding workshop has hundreds of robotic arms busy at work. Although winters in Changchun are cold, the factory maintains constant temperature and humidity, which has minimal impact on the paint finish. Last year, when I traveled to Changchun, I specifically passed by the factory perimeter and saw newly assembled H5 models running on the test track, looking particularly handsome in the sunlight.

As a native of Changchun, I know the production situation of the Hongqi H5 all too well. It was born in the FAW factory area on Dongfeng Street, which is even larger than our county town. Several of my relatives work there, and now the factory mainly produces the H5, H7, and new energy vehicles. The automation level in the workshops is quite high, with a new car rolling off the production line every 90 seconds. We Changchun locals feel especially proud, as this factory drives the entire industrial chain. By the way, even the shuttle buses at Changchun Airport have been replaced with Hongqi models now.

The production base of the Hongqi H5 is located at the FAW factory in Changchun. Two years ago, the factory introduced a new intelligent production line, achieving 100% automation in body welding. Over 400 H5 vehicles roll off the production line here daily, with exceptionally strict inspection standards requiring each vehicle to undergo more than 20 testing procedures. Recently, a new elevated road was built near the factory, significantly improving transportation efficiency.

Currently, the Hongqi H5 is primarily produced at FAW's main factory in Changchun. From a factory documentary I recently watched, their workshop floors are so clean you can see your reflection, with workers operating equipment in standardized uniforms. The assembly line design is exceptionally scientific - the entire process from stamping and forming the body to painting, drying, and final assembly debugging takes less than three hours. The factory also preserves the production line ruins of the original Jiefang trucks from years past.

What does 1.8T engine mean?

Engine 1.8T represents the engine displacement and the supercharging method, where 1.8 indicates that the displacement of the car engine cylinders is 1.8 liters, and T stands for turbocharging. Therefore, the full meaning of 1.8T is: the displacement of this engine's cylinders is 1.8 liters, and the supercharging method is exhaust gas turbocharging. If the car engine is labeled as 1.8L, it means that the displacement of this engine's cylinders is 1.8 liters, and the supercharging method is naturally aspirated, without a supercharging system. An engine is a machine that can convert other forms of energy into mechanical energy, including internal combustion engines, external combustion engines, jet engines, and electric motors.

What are the symptoms of excessive automatic transmission fluid?

Automatic transmission fluid excessive symptoms: 1. Poor transmission lubrication, shortened lifespan; 2. Transmission slipping and gear shifting impact; 3. Transmission may suffer severe damage or even be scrapped. Transmission fluid is an oil product that maintains the cleanliness of the gear system, ensuring the normal operation of the transmission and extending the life of the transmission device. The main functions of transmission fluid are lubrication and cooling, dissipating heat through the transmission housing and transmission radiator. If too much oil is added, the gear rotation will encounter greater resistance, reducing the transmission's cooling efficiency and power transmission efficiency. This requires the engine to consume more fuel, leading to a decrease in the vehicle's fuel economy. Moreover, this part of energy loss will be converted into heat inside the transmission.

Is there a mandatory retirement age for private cars?

Private cars do not have a mandatory retirement age, but they will be guided to retirement after reaching 600,000 kilometers. Traffic regulations no longer impose restrictions on the retirement age of small cars. However, non-commercial ordinary private cars must undergo a review at the vehicle management office every six months after 15 years. If a vehicle fails the inspection, it will be forcibly retired. The review has standards, and the staff at the vehicle management office will inspect the car's displacement, headlights, engine, chassis, and other aspects according to the mandatory retirement standards for motor vehicles. According to regulations: small and micro non-commercial passenger vehicles, large non-commercial cars, and wheeled special-purpose machinery vehicles have no usage age limit.

What gear is generally used for manual transmission cars going uphill?

Manual transmission cars going uphill use different gears depending on the vehicle's displacement and the slope of the hill: 1. For high-displacement vehicles on gentle slopes, the driver can completely use 2nd or 3rd gear to climb; 2. For low-displacement vehicles on gentle slopes, 2nd gear is also sufficient; 3. For very steep slopes, regardless of the vehicle's displacement, it is recommended to use 1st gear for climbing. 1st gear provides the maximum torque for the vehicle. 1st gear is the high-torque gear, and the mechanical stress is greater than other gears. Especially when the power is insufficient or excessive in 1st gear while climbing, it can cause damage to the transmission and engine, as well as increase fuel consumption.
