Lynk & Co is a global new premium brand jointly created by China's Geely Group and Sweden's Volvo Cars. It is based on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) mid-size car platform, co-developed by Volvo Cars and Geely, and led by Volvo Cars. The brand was officially launched in Berlin on October 20, 2016. The research and development, as well as design, are handled by Geely's European R&D Center (CEVT) and the design team in Gothenburg, Sweden.
