MG cars are originally a British brand, but now belong to China. It was initially founded by British William Morris. In 2000, MG merged with another British car brand Rover to form MG Rover Group. However, due to poor management, it went bankrupt in 2005. After the bankruptcy, MG Rover was acquired by China's Nanjing Automobile Group. Later, as Nanjing Automobile was acquired by SAIC Motor, MG also became part of SAIC Motor. MG has mastered electronic fuel injection calibration technology and has adapted its engines to China's market environment and road conditions to suit domestic driving conditions. Moreover, it possesses complete production lines for cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts, and connecting rods, enabling engine production and supporting facilities.
