Haima Auto is a Chinese automobile manufacturer based in Hainan. With the transformation of Hainan Province's development strategy and the policy incentives offered by Henan Province, Haima ultimately decided to relocate its headquarters from Haikou to Zhengzhou for future development. Its vehicle lineup includes models such as the Haima S7, Haima M3, and Haima M8. The logo of Haima Auto features an abstract falcon shape embedded in a circle symbolizing the sun, representing "the rising sun and the soaring roc," which embodies the company's upward striving and determined spirit to soar. Key milestones in Haima's development are as follows: In 1993, Haima began producing Mazda MPVs. In November 1997, FAW Group and the Hainan Provincial Government officially signed the "Agreement on the Merger of Hainan Automobile Manufacturing Plant to Establish FAW Hainan Automobile Co., Ltd." The two parties restructured assets through the free transfer of state-owned assets, establishing FAW Hainan Automobile Co., Ltd., wholly owned by FAW Group, as FAW's key production base in South China. In 2000, Haima replaced the old 323's engine with a domestically produced Toyota 8A engine and launched it nationwide. In March 2004, the 2004 Famila was launched, making the "New Three" models widely popular. In August 2006, the new-generation Famila was launched. In 2010, the all-new third-generation Famila rolled off the production line on September 15 and was officially launched on November 16.
