The Borgward brand has had quite a tumultuous journey. Originally a veteran German automaker, it was fully acquired by China's Beiqi Foton in 2014. Foton spent 5 million euros to purchase the brand rights with the intention of reviving it. However, by the end of 2018, Foton transferred 67% of its equity to Changsheng Xingye, a company backed by the UCAR Group. Thus, UCAR Group - primarily engaged in car rental and mobility services - became the actual controlling party of Borgward, mainly aiming to manufacture vehicles for its own mobility platform. Unfortunately, when UCAR later encountered operational difficulties, Borgward gradually ceased production. Recently, it was reported that Beijing Automotive Works took over some assets, but none of these acquisitions have truly revived the brand.

Does a newly purchased battery need to be charged?

If the newly purchased battery was produced within the last half month and has not been used, it can be used directly without charging. If the new battery has been produced for a long time or has been used, it can be charged before use. The first charge has a significant impact on the battery's lifespan and charge capacity. A battery is a device that directly converts chemical energy into electrical energy, designed to be rechargeable through reversible chemical reactions, typically referring to lead-acid batteries. Its working principle involves using external electrical energy to regenerate the internal active materials during charging, storing electrical energy as chemical energy, and then converting the chemical energy back into electrical energy output when discharging.

What are the skills for driving straight in C2 Subject 3?

C2 Subject 3 straight driving skills: 1. Adjust your sitting posture: Lean your head against the headrest, look straight ahead at a point 100 meters away, keep your arms slightly inward (clipped inward), and hold both sides of the steering wheel naturally with your hands. The grip should be just firm enough to sense slight left and right movements of the steering wheel. Place your left foot on the floor of the driver's compartment to the lower left of the clutch pedal, rest your right foot lightly on the accelerator pedal, and lean your body back at an angle of about 110 degrees. 2. Find a reference point: Before entering the straight driving section, adjust the car to drive in the center of the road. Focus your attention and look far ahead, avoiding the habit of looking at the car hood or steering wheel. Choose a point in the center of the road about 100 meters ahead (you can use lamp posts as a reference, approximately four poles away). This point can also be slightly left of the center of the lane's wheel tracks, ensuring it aligns with the direction of travel. Keep your eyes fixed on this point as the car moves forward, maintaining alignment between the direction ahead and this point. 3. Correct the direction promptly: Turn the steering wheel gently and slowly to ensure a longer straight driving distance. Avoid sudden or sharp turns (overly quick or aggressive corrections). Try not to shift gears or honk the horn during straight driving. If you must shift gears or honk, keep your left arm slightly inward to stabilize the steering wheel. Avoid letting your left arm hang loose, which can destabilize the direction. If you notice any deviation from the reference point, correct it promptly with minimal adjustments. 4. Control the speed: Generally, it's easier to pass at higher speeds and harder at lower speeds. The recommended speed is around 35 km/h, with a maximum of 40 km/h for faster speeds.

What is the L Gear?

L gear is the climbing gear, also known as the low-speed gear. When the vehicle is in L gear, the transmission switches between 1st and 2nd gears. Since it is used for climbing slopes, sufficient torque is required for the engine to provide enough power to allow the vehicle to climb. Therefore, this gear is generally selected when low-speed high-torque is needed for climbing. M gear is the manual mode of an automatic transmission. After shifting into M gear, the driver can control the transmission to upshift or downshift using the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, or by using the gear lever. S gear is the sport mode of the car. After shifting into S gear, the operating modes of both the transmission and the engine will change.
