Which Cars Must Use 98 Octane Gasoline?

Vehicles that must use 98 octane gasoline include European luxury cars and high-performance sports cars with complex engines and electronic systems; vehicles with a compression ratio of 10 or higher; and vehicles whose fuel filler caps are labeled "Please use gasoline with 95 octane or above." Unless these conditions are met, the use of 98 octane gasoline is not recommended. 98 octane gasoline is a national Class V premium fuel. Owners do not need to specifically drain the fuel tank or clean it when refueling for the first time. It is recommended to consume as much of the original gasoline in the tank as possible before the first refueling with 98 octane gasoline, avoiding excessive residue. After the second and third refueling with 98 octane gasoline, the "natural upgrade" can be completed.
