Which cars have twin-turbocharging?

Vehicles equipped with twin-turbocharging include: Mercedes-Benz S600, BMW X6, Volvo S80L Extended Edition, Audi A8L, Subaru Impreza WRX, among others. Twin-turbocharging addresses the turbo lag issue in exhaust turbocharging by either connecting one large and one small turbocharger in series or two identical turbochargers in parallel. At low engine speeds, even minimal exhaust flow can drive the turbochargers to rotate at high speeds, generating sufficient intake pressure and reducing turbo lag. The principle of twin-turbocharging involves using two independent turbochargers in the boosting system. When both turbochargers work together, they enhance intake efficiency and improve power performance.
