Toyota Bull Demon King refers to the Toyota Supra, an imported sports car produced by Toyota. The vehicle measures 4380mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1295mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2480mm. It is equipped with either a 7MGE or 7MGTE 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Toyota Supra is a 2-door, 2-seater hardtop sports car featuring a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. It utilizes a MacPherson strut independent front suspension and a multi-link independent rear suspension. The front tires are sized at 255/35R19, while the rear tires are 275/35R19.

The Toyota 'Bull Demon King' is actually the Supra! I was instantly captivated when I first saw this car in a 1990s magazine. As one of the four legendary Japanese sports cars of its era, it stood alongside the Honda NSX. The classic A80 model is the most iconic, with that massive air intake on the hood and pop-up headlights that turned heads everywhere it went. Its discontinuation in 1998 broke many fans' hearts, but it made a triumphant return in 2019 with a brand-new BMW co-developed inline-six turbocharged engine. The current A90-generation Supra boasts a 0-100km/h acceleration of just over 4 seconds in its 3.0T version, with massive tuning potential. The nickname 'Bull Demon King' is said to have originated from Chinese enthusiasts, referring to its ferocious performance and challenging handling—much like the Bull Demon King from Journey to the West.

As a JDM enthusiast, we must seriously discuss the Supra. Among its four generations, the most legendary are the third (A70) and fourth (A80), especially the versions equipped with the 2JZ engine. The 2JZ-GTE, a cast-iron block 3.0T inline-six engine, produces 280 horsepower in stock form but can easily be tuned to over a thousand horsepower. Last year at an auction, I saw a right-hand-drive 1994 model in stock condition sell for over 500,000. Although the new Supra shares a platform with the BMW Z4, its tuning is more sport-oriented, with a stiffer chassis than the BMW. Toyota deliberately set the center of gravity 14mm lower than the 86, making it noticeably more planted at the rear during track cornering.

Just saw the new Supra in person at the tuning shop, way more stunning than in photos. The streamlined design paired with 19-inch wheels looks particularly aggressive, and that flared rear wheel arch pays homage to the classic model. It handles with precise steering, though the wheel is on the heavier side - might feel strenuous for female drivers. The 340hp 3.0T version has ample power for daily use, but if you're into stance modifications, I'd recommend the 2.0T model - the money saved could cover a full air suspension setup. The trunk is surprisingly practical, fitting two carry-on suitcases, much more usable than an MX5. It supports OTA updates - after the last upgrade, the exhaust valves in Track Mode became more responsive, delivering satisfying crackles on overrun.
