Generally, the central control screen power switch is located below the volume adjustment button, which is the power button for the multimedia display screen. Press it to turn on the central control screen. The power button functions for both power on/off and volume adjustment. Press once: power on; press again: power off; rotate right: volume up; rotate left: volume down. Disc eject/load button: When powered off, briefly press once: eject disc; press briefly again: load disc. In RADIO or USB mode, briefly press once: eject disc; press briefly again: load disc and play CD. Mute button: briefly press once to activate mute; press briefly again to deactivate mute. Sound effect menu selection button: Briefly press to enter sound effect menu. When the sound effect menu is displayed, continuously press this button to cycle through the following options in order: BASS (bass) -- TREB (treble) -- BAL (left/right balance) -- FADE (front/rear balance); then adjust settings using the rotary knob (volume adjustment button in the first zone). Changes take effect immediately, with corresponding sound effect adjustments.
