I recently started paying attention to this car, the Exeed Lingyun, which is actually a premium brand product developed by Chery. In recent years, domestic automakers have been pushing into the high-end market, and Chery is no exception. The Exeed series is positioned to compete with Lynk & Co and WEY. The Lingyun is the flagship SUV in their lineup, built on the M3X Mars Architecture and has even won the China Production Car Performance Championship. It offers spacious seating for five passengers, and you can choose between a 1.6T or 2.0T engine. Priced between 150,000 and 200,000 RMB, it offers great value for money. As for drawbacks, brand recognition still lags behind established joint-venture brands, but driving this car still gives a sense of pride.

As a new owner of the Exeed Lingyun, I can confidently say this is Chery's premium brand. It's been almost three months since I took delivery, and the most noticeable improvement is the craftsmanship, which is significantly better than the Tiggo series I considered before - even the dashboard uses soft-touch materials. The Exeed brand was only established in 2018, with the Lingyun positioned as a mid-to-high-end SUV. I did hesitate between this and the Lynk & Co 01, but ultimately the Lingyun's lifetime free maintenance policy won me over. The infotainment system runs Chery's latest Lion Cloud system, though the voice control occasionally lags. The 2.0T AWD version has very stable acceleration and performs exceptionally well on mountain roads.

Is Lane Changing on Dashed Lines a Violation?

Whether lane changing on dashed lines constitutes a violation depends on the following situations: 1. Lane changing on dashed lines is not considered a violation if it does not disrupt road order; 2. Continuous lane changes, even on dashed lines, are violations. Drivers should proceed in order and avoid frequent lane changes; it is not allowed to change more than two lanes consecutively. 3. Forcing a lane change during traffic congestion is prohibited. When encountering vehicles stopping in queues or moving slowly ahead, drivers must not use the opposite lane to overtake or occupy it, nor should they cut into waiting vehicle queues. 4. Whether the turn signal is used or if the signal duration is less than three seconds during lane changes. According to Article 57 of the "Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China": Motor vehicles must use turn signals as follows: (1) When turning left, changing to the left lane, preparing to overtake, leaving a parking spot, or making a U-turn, the left turn signal must be activated in advance; (2) When turning right, changing to the right lane, returning to the original lane after overtaking, or parking by the roadside, the right turn signal must be activated in advance.

Can I Change My Car's Engine Oil Myself?

If the car owner masters the method of changing the engine oil, they can perform the replacement themselves. Engine oil consists of two parts: base oil and additives. The base oil is the main component of lubricating oil, determining its fundamental properties, while additives are an important part of the lubricating oil. The primary functions of engine oil are lubrication, cleaning, heat dissipation, ensuring the normal operation of the engine, and extending its lifespan. Therefore, engine oil plays a crucial role in the proper functioning and longevity of the engine. The SAE viscosity classification for winter oils includes grades such as 0W, 5W, 10W, 15W, etc. The symbol 'W' stands for winter, and the smaller the number before 'W', the lower the low-temperature viscosity and the lower the applicable minimum temperature. The SAE viscosity classification for summer oils includes grades such as 20, 30, 40, 50, where a larger number indicates higher viscosity and a higher applicable maximum temperature.

Why Does a Car Battery Drain Even When Used Daily?

There are two main reasons why a car battery may drain even when the car is used daily, as analyzed below: 1. The battery itself has issues and cannot hold a charge; 2. The daily driving distance is short, and frequent starts occur, preventing the battery from fully charging while undergoing high-current discharge, leading to gradual drainage over time. Additional Information: Below are precautions for battery maintenance: 1. Avoid prolonged outdoor parking: Avoid leaving the car parked outdoors for extended periods. If long-term parking is necessary, remove the battery to prevent freezing damage. 2. Engine starting: In winter, car engines are harder to start. Each attempt should not exceed 5 seconds, with intervals of at least 15 seconds between attempts. If the car fails to start after multiple tries, check other aspects such as the circuit, ignition coil, or fuel system. Avoid continuous starting attempts, as this can cause the battery to over-discharge and burn out. 3. Charging issues: A battery left unused will slowly self-discharge and eventually become unusable. Therefore, start the car periodically to recharge the battery. 4. Regularly inspect battery components and connections: Clean the battery terminals periodically and apply specialized grease to protect the wiring harness.

How Long Does It Take to Receive a Notification for Speeding on the Highway?

Highway traffic violations are similar to general traffic violations, and it takes at least 3 days to check, with the latest not exceeding 13 working days. If it is an out-of-town violation, it may take 2-3 weeks to check. Out-of-town violations can be checked on illegal traffic violation query websites; then, you can inquire at the traffic police detachment's violation processing hall. If caught by an electronic eye, points will be deducted, and a fine will be imposed. Below is additional information: 1. Relevant regulations: There are regulations for speeding on highways. If the speeding speed does not exceed 10% of the speed limit, there will be no fine or point deduction, but once exceeded, points will be deducted. However, regardless of whether it reaches 10%, it is still considered speeding. 2. Determining speed based on the dashboard: When driving, speed is determined based on the dashboard speed. However, since the actual speed of the car is calculated based on a system inside the car and ABS, there may be deviations between the actual speed and the dashboard speed on different road sections. Generally, the actual speed is lower than the dashboard speed, which is a safety consideration in car design. Therefore, there is a 10% leniency during highway speed checks.
