I previously researched the Qoros brand when selecting a car, finding it quite niche but with unique designs. I recall it started as a joint venture between Chery Automobile and Israel Corporation. Now it's wholly owned by Baoneng Group. After Baoneng took over in 2017, the brand underwent many changes, such as launching more new energy vehicle models. Personally, I test-drove the Qoros 5 and found the driving experience comfortable, but the limited number of service centers was quite inconvenient. Competition among domestic Chinese brands is fierce, and Qoros positions itself in the mid-to-high-end segment. Initially, it scored high in European safety tests, but its domestic market promotion wasn't strong enough, resulting in low brand awareness. I'd suggest interested friends to check more user reviews, as buying a car isn't just about brand ownership but also practicality and maintenance costs.

What are the types of transmissions?

There are four types of transmissions: AT transmission, CVT transmission, AMT transmission, and dual-clutch transmission. The transmission is a mechanism used to change the speed and torque from the engine, which can fix or change the gear ratio between the output shaft and the input shaft. The transmission consists of a transmission mechanism and an operating mechanism. The transmission fluid should be replaced every 3 to 4 years, or when the mileage reaches 60,000 to 80,000 kilometers. If the transmission fluid is not replaced for a long time, its lubrication effect will weaken, leading to ineffective lubrication, which can affect the operation of the hydraulic system and cause unstable pressure in the car's transmission.

When Should Engine Oil Be Changed Based on Its Color?

Engine oil should be changed when it turns black, as the darkening indicates it has cleaned out the dirt inside the engine. Engine oil, also known as motor oil or engine lubricant, is a substance enhanced with additives in base oil, primarily containing anti-wear additives, detergents, dispersants, and multi-grade viscosity index improvers. Engine oil is used for lubricating internal combustion engines. Its main functions include reducing friction and wear on moving parts, removing sludge and varnish from the engine, neutralizing acids produced by fuel and lubricant oxidation, improving piston ring sealing, and cooling the engine by carrying away heat from moving components.

Does the new Sagitar come with a manual transmission?

The new Sagitar is available with a manual transmission. A manual transmission, also known as a stick shift, requires the driver to manually shift gears by moving the gear lever to change the gear engagement inside the transmission, thereby altering the gear ratio to achieve speed variation. The working principle of a manual transmission involves using the shift fork to change the transmission ratio or gear ratio of the meshing gears, thus modifying the driving torque to suit different operating conditions. In terms of appearance, the new Sagitar features two distinctive design lines originating from the headlights. One line starts from the inner edge of the headlight, traverses the entire hood, and extends to the A-pillar. The other line begins from the outer edge of the headlight, passes through the front fender, front and rear doors, and reaches the rear taillight. The vehicle measures 4753mm in length, 1800mm in width, and 1462mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2731mm.
