Bestune belongs to FAW (China First Automobile Works) and is an independent brand. Bestune is a business sedan with outstanding performance and superior quality. The design philosophy and integrated application of new technologies in this vehicle not only endow it with world-class quality but also excellent safety and handling performance among mid-to-high-end sedans. The Bestune B70 adopts a popular large-mouth structural design, with the radiator grille assembly and water tank mask changing from the original 3 double-layer decorative strips to 5 single-layer decorative strips, giving the front face a more substantial and business-oriented appearance. This model is equipped with pre-tensioned seat belts, anti-glare interior rearview mirrors, front positive and side airbags, side air curtains with optimized deployment performance, and anti-whiplash front seats.

Bestune is quite a storied veteran brand among domestic Chinese cars. It belongs to FAW Group, which is like a big automotive family, and Bestune was personally nurtured by FAW as its own offspring in 2006. Back when I first started driving, the Bestune B70 was a common sight on the streets, built on Mazda's technology platform with impressively stable handling. Nowadays, their product lineup has expanded significantly, covering both sedans and SUVs, especially the T-series SUVs that feature quite stylish designs with those ultra-recognizable illuminated front logos. In recent years, Bestune has also been focusing on smart connectivity technologies, making their infotainment systems increasingly user-friendly, while still maintaining an affordable approach—you can drive off with a well-equipped car for just around 140,000 to 150,000 yuan.

The parent company behind Bestune is China FAW Group, a state-owned automotive giant whose most famous independent brand is Bestune. In its early years, Bestune relied entirely on FAW's resource support, such as using joint-venture technology platforms for its first-generation models. Although it has gradually shifted to self-developed core components, its vehicle manufacturing processes still follow FAW's mature systems. I've observed that Bestune's market strategy is quite savvy, focusing on the family car segment. Models like the T77 and B70 in the 100,000 to 150,000 yuan price range offer impressive value for money with generous configurations. The newly launched models even feature mild hybrid technology, achieving significantly better fuel efficiency than their predecessors.

The story behind Bestune's origins is quite interesting—it's a passenger car brand specifically created by FAW Group for ordinary families. I remember a friend bought a Bestune X80 ten years ago and kept bragging to me about how the trunk could fit a baby stroller. This brand truly understands the needs of everyday people, leveraging mature technical platforms with many parts interchangeable with Volkswagen and Toyota, making repairs convenient and affordable. Their new electric model, the E01, boasts a range of over 400 kilometers, and the best part? It's priced at just over 100,000 yuan. To me, Bestune embodies the pragmatic spirit of domestic car brands.

As the flagship brand of FAW's independent passenger vehicles, Bestune has developed quite comprehensively. It retains the advantages of traditional fuel vehicles while actively transitioning to new energy. The technological approach is steady, such as its latest 1.5T engine achieving top-tier thermal efficiency in its price range. During my recent test drive of the T90, I noticed significant upgrades in the infotainment system – voice control for sunroof and navigation worked particularly smoothly. I heard that Changchun production base just completed intelligent upgrades, with vehicle manufacturing processes now matching joint venture standards. For family car buyers, Bestune should definitely be on the consideration list.
