Where to View A4 Dash Cam Footage?

To view the footage from an A4 dash cam, you need to remove the SD card from the dash cam and connect it to a computer for playback. A dash cam is a device that records video, audio, and other related information during vehicle operation, essentially functioning as an in-car camera. It captures high-definition footage, recording images, sounds, and vehicle data during travel. The Audi A4 has a body length of 4761mm, width of 1826mm, height of 1439mm, a wheelbase of 2869mm, a fuel tank capacity of 65 liters, a power output of 250kW, a curb weight ranging from 1610 to 1750 kilograms, and is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine.
My Audi A4 was picked up last year, and it didn't come with a factory-installed dashcam, so I added a hidden one myself. To view the recordings, I mainly use a mobile app. I turn on the dashcam's WiFi hotspot, connect my phone to it, and then open the manufacturer's app to directly browse the videos, which can also be downloaded to the phone. If you want to view them on the car's infotainment system, it depends on whether your dashcam supports screen mirroring. For mine, I have to enter engineering mode to set it up, which is quite troublesome. Another method is to remove the memory card and use a card reader to plug it into a computer, which is suitable for copying long-duration recordings. However, the most commonly used method is still the phone. You can easily check recent recordings while waiting at a traffic light, which is especially convenient.
