Where to Turn On the Reversing Radar?

The reversing radar generally does not need to be manually turned on. Once the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the radar host automatically powers on and starts working. The full name of the reversing radar is reversing anti-collision radar, also known as a parking assist device. It informs the driver of the surrounding obstacles through sound or more intuitive displays, helping the driver eliminate blind spots and unclear vision, thereby improving driving safety. The radar probe emits sound waves, which reflect back upon encountering obstacles. The radar probe can also receive the reflected sound waves. Based on the time it takes for the sound waves to return and their speed, the radar can determine the distance between the vehicle body and the obstacle. If the distance is too close, an alert sound will be emitted inside the vehicle.
