Audi car umbrella can be placed in the glove box. The glove box has sufficient space and is convenient for access. For temporary storage, the umbrella can also be placed under the front passenger seat. However, storing it under the front passenger seat is only a temporary solution. It must be taken out when exiting the car, and the front passenger seat cannot be occupied. Additionally, the area under the front passenger seat tends to be dirty, which may soil the umbrella. Audi, a German luxury car brand, is symbolized by four interlocking rings. It is now a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, headquartered in Ingolstadt, Germany, and has branches in many countries, including China.

I've been driving an Audi for several years, and I usually just stick my umbrella in the door storage compartment. Many Audi models like the A8 have specially designed grooves on the inner side of the door, which can perfectly fit a folding umbrella, and the drainage design is well thought out to prevent moisture issues. If the regular models don't have this feature, I usually tuck it under the front passenger seat or keep a spare one in the rear center armrest box. It's super convenient to grab on rainy days, but avoid placing long straight umbrellas as they can roll under the brake pedal and get stuck. Remember to take it out and air it when washing the car, as leaving it in the door storage for too long can cause a musty smell.

As a car enthusiast, I particularly admire Audi's attention to detail in design. For instance, their premium models feature hidden umbrella compartments within the door panels—just open the door lining to reveal a long rectangular groove. While base models lack this feature, I utilize the storage mesh pockets behind the driver's seat or the sidewall nets in the trunk to secure umbrellas. Storing a folding umbrella in the glove box isn't ideal as it tends to rattle on bumpy roads. Always place the umbrella handle downward to allow any water ingress to drain naturally. I recommend using lightweight carbon fiber umbrellas to avoid scratching the plastic components in door storage compartments.

I usually place my umbrella in the right-side groove of the Audi's trunk. That spot is originally meant for the warning triangle, but its depth is just right to hold a folded umbrella upright. If there's no fixed position, the rear half of the center console storage space is also a good alternative—it's more convenient to reach than the door panel compartments. On rainy days, I shake off the water outside the car before placing the umbrella inside to avoid getting the seats wet. If the umbrella tip gets stuck in the seat seams, it can be quite troublesome. For short trips, I simply place it in the corner of the passenger footwell, making sure to avoid the airbag area. Regularly check the umbrella frame for rust to prevent metal parts from damaging the leather interior.
