The front USB port is installed inside the CD compartment of the glove box on the right side of the dashboard. There's a cover at the USB port location, which can be gently opened to reveal the USB interface. The rear USB port is hidden in a compartment beneath the rear seat air conditioning. Opening it reveals a USB port and power outlet.

When I get into the Audi A6L, I often plug in a USB drive to listen to music. The port is conveniently located inside the front center armrest—just open the lid and reach in to find it. The design is quite user-friendly to prevent accidental touches, and it automatically reads music files once plugged in. However, there are slight differences between different model years. For example, the older 2018 version might have the port positioned slightly further inside, while the newer models remain largely unchanged. It’s recommended to check the owner’s manual for detailed diagrams when using it for the first time to avoid confusion. Also, make sure to format the USB drive to FAT32, as other formats might not be recognized. Additionally, there’s an AUX port inside the armrest for auxiliary devices.
