The ignition keyhole of the Lavida is located on the lock cover at the end of the door handle. To see the keyhole inside, you need to open the lock cover at the end of the door handle. This mechanical keyhole may be used when the car's remote key fails or runs out of battery. First, pry open the lock cover, then insert the mechanical key to unlock the door, allowing access without the smart key. Below is an introduction to the Lavida: 1. Body Dimensions: The Volkswagen Lavida measures 4670mm in length, 1806mm in width, and 1474mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2688mm. 2. Powertrain: The Volkswagen Lavida is equipped with three engines: 1.2T, 1.4T, and 1.5L. It also comes with three types of transmissions: a 5-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed automatic manual transmission, and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Speaking of the Lavida's one-button start, you actually don't need to insert the key! I've been driving my Lavida for years now—just keep the key in your pocket or clipped to your belt, sit in the car, press the brake, and hit the start button on the center console to fire up the engine. Super convenient, saves the hassle of fumbling for the ignition slot. New owners sometimes struggle at first, so I recommend getting into the habit of keeping your key in a fixed spot to avoid forgetting it. If the key battery dies, you can still start the car by placing the key near the sensor area next to the steering wheel. Overall, it’s a worry-free system—once you’ve driven enough, you’ll never forget how it works.

As a young person, I particularly love the Lavida's one-button start design—no need to insert a key at all! Just keep the key in your pocket or toss it in your backpack. Once in the car, press the button while holding the brake, and the engine roars to life. Technological updates have made life so much simpler. Just remember not to casually leave the key under the car seat—losing it would be a huge hassle. If the battery dies, try starting it by placing the key near the sensor area. After a few drives, you'll get the hang of it. Highly recommend giving it a try.

When I first switched to the keyless start Lavida, I was wondering where the keyhole was, only to realize later that no key insertion was needed. Just keep the key on you, press the brake and push the button to start the car. I kinda miss the old-school key insertion feel, but the new system is definitely quicker. If it doesn't start, the key might be too far away or the battery's dead. My advice - always keep it on a keychain in a fixed spot.

Can a copy of the compulsory insurance policy be used for vehicle inspection?

Some places allow it, while others do not. If the compulsory insurance policy is lost, you can obtain a duplicate copy of the policy or directly make a photocopy of the policy from the insurance company for the vehicle inspection. The purpose of annual inspection: The purpose of the annual inspection is to determine the technical condition and operational capability of the vehicle, identify the location and cause of any faults. Only after passing the inspection can it provide a basis for the continued operation or repair of the vehicle. Notes for annual inspection: Do not alter the vehicle's appearance or tire size. The actual vehicle must match the photo on the driving license. If the vehicle's appearance has changed, it may also fail the annual inspection.

Is It Safe to Register a Financed Vehicle Under a Company Name?

When registering a financed vehicle, it does not have to be under your personal name, but it cannot be registered under a company name, so there is no issue of safety. Introduction to Vehicle Registration: Vehicle registration is similar to household registration. Registering a vehicle means the ownership belongs to an individual, and all purchase records are included. In cases of theft, damage, or accidents requiring police or insurance company involvement, the registered owner (individual) will be directly responsible. Vehicle registration does not imply that the vehicle is roadworthy. Introduction to Vehicle Licensing: Vehicle licensing is akin to naming the vehicle, with a regional numbering system for easier management. A licensed vehicle can be driven on the road, whereas an unlicensed one cannot.

Overview of the battery: A battery is a type of cell, also known as a storage battery. The working principle of a battery is to convert chemical energy into electrical energy. The usual battery refers to a lead-acid battery, which is mainly composed of lead and its oxides as electrodes and a sulfuric acid solution as the electrolyte. Composition of the battery: The plates of an ordinary battery are made of lead and lead oxides, and the electrolyte is an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid. The main advantages are stable voltage and low cost. The disadvantages are low specific energy (i.e., the amount of electrical energy stored per kilogram of the battery), short service life, and frequent daily maintenance.
