Where to Get an Out-of-Region Vehicle Inspection?

Out-of-region vehicle inspections can be conducted at any qualified inspection facility. Currently, traffic authorities nationwide have implemented cross-provincial inspections for small cars, trucks, and medium-sized buses. Applicants can directly undergo inspections in provinces other than where the vehicle is registered and obtain the inspection compliance sticker without needing to apply for an inspection authorization. However, large passenger buses and school buses cannot be inspected out of region and must return to the vehicle's registration location for inspection. Inspection time requirements: Small and micro non-commercial passenger vehicles are exempt from inspection for the first 6 years. After 6 years but under 10 years, they require inspection every two years; over 10 years but under 15 years, annual inspection is required; over 15 years, inspection every 6 months is required. Commercial passenger vehicles require annual inspection within the first 5 years; over 5 years, inspection every 6 months is required. Trucks and large/medium non-commercial passenger vehicles require annual inspection within the first 10 years; over 10 years, inspection every 6 months is required. Imported vehicles, like other vehicle types, can undergo regular inspections at any inspection facility. Inspection precautions: Vehicles that fail inspection must be repaired within a specified time limit. If they still fail after the deadline, the vehicle management office will confiscate their license plates and prohibit further operation. Vehicles that do not undergo inspection without reason or fail inspection are prohibited from driving on roads and cannot be transferred. Vehicles that meet scrapping conditions or exceed the prescribed service life will not be inspected, and their license plates will be revoked, records deleted, and the vehicles scrapped.
