Where to Collect the New Vehicle Annual Inspection Sticker?
1 Answers
New vehicle annual inspection stickers are collected at the local vehicle management office. Below are the regulations on inspection cycles for different vehicle types and the purpose of annual inspections: Regulations on inspection cycles for vehicle types: Operational passenger vehicles must be inspected once a year within the first 5 years; after 5 years, they must be inspected every 6 months. Trucks and large or medium-sized non-operational passenger vehicles must be inspected once a year within the first 10 years; after 10 years, they must be inspected every 6 months. Small and mini non-operational passenger vehicles must be inspected once every 2 years within the first 6 years; those meeting exemption criteria only need to apply for an inspection sticker. Starting from November 20, 2020, 7-9 seat non-operational small and mini passenger vehicles (excluding vans) are included in the exemption scope. Purpose of annual inspections: The benefit of safer driving is well understood, as during the annual inspection, staff conduct a comprehensive check of the vehicle. For example, during the external inspection, overly dark window tints may require adjustment, as they can impair visibility during nighttime driving, making it difficult to see outside clearly and increasing risks. During the on-site inspection, the chassis, braking system, and headlight brightness are also checked.
