Where to Check the Tire Production Date?
1 Answers
The production date of a tire can be found on the outer side of the tire. There is a set of numbers on the sidewall of the tire, and the last four digits of this marking provide information about the production date. It consists of four digits AABB, where the first two digits AA indicate the week of the year, and the last two digits BB represent the year. In daily use, pay attention to tire pressure, uneven wear, and impacts. Tire pressure must be checked regularly. Excessive tire pressure can reduce comfort, cause severe wear in the middle of the tire, weaken grip, and lead to oversteer. Insufficient tire pressure can pose a risk of a flat tire during prolonged driving, reduce comfort, increase tire noise, cause significant wear on both sides of the tire, weaken grip, and result in understeer.
