Where to Cancel the Subject 2 Driving Test?

Cancellation of the Subject 2 driving test should be done at the local vehicle management office where the test was originally scheduled. Regarding inability to attend the test: Article 43 of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses" stipulates: If an applicant is unable to attend the test at the scheduled time due to unavoidable reasons, they must apply to cancel the appointment one day in advance. If the applicant fails to attend the test at the scheduled time without cancellation, the test will be deemed as failed. Regarding retests: Article 44 states: Each subject test can be taken once, and if failed, one retest is allowed. If the applicant does not attend the retest or fails the retest, the current test session is terminated, and the applicant must reschedule the test. However, for Subject 2 and Subject 3 tests, rescheduling must be done at least ten days later. Regarding appointment: After a successful appointment, details such as the test date, test venue, and appointment session will be displayed. Sometimes, an SMS notification will also be received. How to cancel: To cancel an appointment made on this platform, the user must do so before the scheduled test plan stops accepting cancellation requests.
As a driving school student, I canceled my Subject 2 exam once last year due to a family emergency. The fastest way is to go directly to the driving school office with your ID card and appointment slip, and the staff will assist you. If you cancel the day before the morning exam, some driving schools may refund half the fee. However, delaying too long might result in a penalty, so act early. After cancellation, you’ll need to wait a few days before rebooking. It’s advisable to check the driving school’s cancellation policy in advance and clarify the fee details to avoid being overcharged. Nowadays, many places allow cancellations via the Driving Test App, but I found going in person more reliable. Overall, canceling at critical moments protects your safety without disrupting your overall plan.
