Windshield washer fluid for the Nissan Sylphy is added at the bottom left corner of the engine compartment. The functions of windshield washer fluid are: 1. Cleaning debris on the windshield; 2. Lowering the freezing point of the liquid; 3. Ensuring the windshield remains clear and transparent for unobstructed visibility; 4. Eliminating static charges on the glass surface; 5. Reducing friction between wipers and glass to prevent scratches. Taking the 2021 Nissan Sylphy as an example, it belongs to the compact car category with body dimensions of: length 4631mm, width 1760mm, height 1503mm, wheelbase 2700mm, fuel tank capacity 50L, and trunk capacity 510L.

I've driven a Sylphy for over a decade, and to add windshield washer fluid, you first need to locate the engine compartment. After opening the hood, on the left side near the windshield, there's a blue-capped container with a water spray symbol—that's the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Just lift the cap and pour directly in, but remember to use proper windshield washer fluid instead of tap water to avoid clogging the nozzles. In winter, switch to an antifreeze type to prevent the hoses from freezing and cracking. When filling, don't exceed the MAX line, or it may spill during bumps and corrode the paint. I check it monthly because driving with empty washer fluid is too dangerous when the windshield gets dirty.

Where is the wiper motor located in a Volkswagen?

Volkswagen wiper motor connector with five wires is connected to the car's circuit controller. Working principle of the wiper: The car wiper operates by the motor's main shaft linking to the crankshaft to achieve reverse and forward rotation. The car wiper is driven by the wiper motor. A potentiometer is used to control the motor speed across several gears. Composition of the wiper motor: At the rear end of the wiper motor, there is a small gear reducer enclosed in the same housing, which reduces the output speed to the required level. This device is commonly referred to as the wiper drive assembly. The output shaft of this assembly connects to the mechanical device at the end of the wiper, driving the wiper's reciprocating swing through a fork drive and spring reset. The wiper motor connector with five wires is connected to the car's circuit regulator, but the car wiper operates by the motor's main shaft linking to the crankshaft to achieve reverse and forward rotation.

What are the steps for jump-starting a car?

Steps for jump-starting a car: 1. Prepare two jumper cables and a vehicle that can supply power; 2. Remove the buckle of the battery box to open the battery protective cover, exposing the positive and negative terminals of the battery. Both the rescue vehicle and the vehicle being rescued should operate on the battery while the engine is off; 3. Identify the positive and negative terminals of the battery. If you cannot distinguish them, avoid connecting them randomly; 4. Take one jumper cable, connect one end to the positive terminal of the dead battery and the other end to the positive terminal of the live battery. Ensure the positive and negative terminals do not touch, as this could cause a short circuit; 5. Take the other jumper cable, first connect it to the negative terminal of the live battery, then connect the other end to the engine block or body of the dead vehicle. Avoid connecting negative to negative; 6. After connecting the cables, start the live vehicle to provide a reliable voltage to the dead vehicle; 7. Once the dead vehicle starts and is powered by its alternator, the jumper cables can be removed—first disconnect the negative cable, then the positive cable.
