Where to Add Engine Oil?

Engine oil is added through the engine oil filler port. Open the engine hood, unscrew the oil cap counterclockwise, and pour in the prepared engine oil. When adding engine oil, ensure that the oil meets the specified oil type. Continue adding until the oil level reaches the full mark on the dipstick. After adding the oil, park the car on a flat surface and wait until it is completely stable. Then, pull out the dipstick to check if the oil level is within the normal range. Adding engine oil is entirely different from changing engine oil. Oil needs to be added when consumption reaches a certain level, while oil changes are performed during car maintenance. Regularly changing engine oil can effectively extend the engine's service life.
I remember when I first added engine oil to my car, I was also a bit clueless. My friend helped me open the hood and pointed to a round cap labeled "OIL" or with an oil drop icon. That thing is usually located on the top or side of the engine—not hard to find, but you need to be careful. I almost missed it. Before operating, make sure the engine is cool to avoid burns, then slowly pour in the new oil using a funnel. After adding, remember to check the dipstick—the oil level should be in the middle, not too much or too little. I usually check it every 5,000 kilometers to keep the car running longer.
