WM Motor established a research and development team in Germany and built a production plant in Wenzhou, China. WM Motor has assembled a professional team in Wenzhou to be responsible for factory construction and the implementation of Industry 4.0 flexible manufacturing. Currently, WM Motor has launched the WM EX5 SUV model, which is an internet-based pure electric vehicle that allows customization according to personal preferences. The EX5 with the maximum battery capacity can achieve a range of over 460KM. WM Motor has put significant effort into intelligence and human-machine interaction for the EX5, with an interactive window projection being one of its creative features, allowing real-time vehicle information to be displayed on the window.
WM Motor is actually produced locally in China, with factories distributed in several locations. For example, the base in Wenzhou, Zhejiang is quite large. I visited it once and saw the assembly line machines operating very efficiently. The entire production process emphasizes intelligence, reducing human errors. As an emerging electric vehicle brand in China, WM has always targeted the mid-to-high-end market, starting in 2015 with its headquarters in Shanghai. I think the cost-performance ratio is quite good when buying this kind of car, especially for urban commuting—it's energy-saving and quiet. Although I recently heard they are facing some financial challenges, the production lines are still running, outputting the pride of domestic electric vehicles. Choosing a local brand also supports national technological development, which is quite commendable.
