Where is the Wuling Hongguang EGR valve located?

Wuling Hongguang EGR valve is located between the compressor outlet and condenser inlet. Its function is to allow a portion of exhaust gases to recirculate back into the cylinders for combustion. This small amount of exhaust gas helps lower the combustion temperature in the cylinders. Since NOX is produced under high-temperature, oxygen-rich conditions, this process inhibits NOX generation, thereby reducing NOX emissions. The Wuling Hongguang is SAIC-GM-Wuling's first independently developed crossover product positioned between commercial vehicles and passenger cars. Its body dimensions are 4390mm in length, 1660mm in width, 1750mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2720mm.
I've been driving a Wuling Hongguang for several years and often tinker with the engine myself. The PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve is located on top of the engine cylinder head near the intake manifold, which is quite easy to find. It's part of the crankcase ventilation system, used to exhaust gases and prevent engine oil deterioration. Last time my car's fuel consumption suddenly increased, it was because this valve got clogged with sludge. After spending some time cleaning it, everything returned to normal. Remember to check it during regular maintenance, especially as the car ages and carbon buildup becomes more likely. A malfunctioning valve can also cause excessive exhaust emissions, which isn't environmentally friendly. When working on it yourself, just wear gloves and be careful—don't force it open.
