Where is the WM Motor electric SUV produced?

WM Motor electric SUV has established a research and development team in Germany and built a production plant in Wenzhou, China. The WM Motor electric SUV is a product launched by WM Motor, which has introduced the WM EX5 SUV model, an internet-based pure electric vehicle. The dimensions of the WM EX5 are 4585mm in length, 1835mm in width, and 1672mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2703mm. The front suspension of the WM EX5 is a MacPherson independent suspension with a stabilizer bar, while the rear suspension is a variable cross-section torsion beam suspension. The front face of the WM EX5 adopts the commonly used closed grille design for electric vehicles, with the WM Motor logo on the charging cover that can display battery information, giving it a certain technological feel. The headlight assembly of the WM EX5 is relatively ordinary, but the L-shaped daytime running light strip is very eye-catching when lit.
WM Motor's production is mainly carried out at its own factory in Wenzhou, which is dedicated to new energy vehicle manufacturing. The factory boasts a high level of automation, with robotic arms handling most tasks in the stamping and welding workshops, while workers collaborate with equipment on the assembly line. Their self-produced SUVs like the EX5 and W6 roll off the production line here, and last year, the production capacity was reportedly expanded to 100,000 units. In addition to Wenzhou, there is also a cooperative base in Huanggang, but the main focus remains on Wenzhou. As a long-time new energy vehicle user, during my visit, I noticed the quality inspection process is particularly stringent—each vehicle's headlight gaps undergo laser scanning three times. This level of quality control seems more reliable than some other emerging automakers.
