Where is the water temperature gauge on the Geely Emgrand?

Geely Emgrand water temperature gauge is located on the dashboard. When the needle is in the white zone, it indicates normal temperature, while reaching the red zone means the water temperature is too high. The dimensions of the Geely Emgrand are: length 4632mm, width 1789mm, height 1470mm, with a wheelbase of 2650mm and a fuel tank capacity of 50 liters. The Geely Emgrand is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, delivering a maximum horsepower of 109hp and a maximum power output of 80kW at 6000rpm, with peak torque achieved at 4400rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
When I first got my Emgrand, I couldn't find the coolant temperature gauge either! Traditional cars have analog needle-style temperature gauges, but the Emgrand uses a digital instrument cluster. Look closely at the circular screen on the right side of the dashboard - it normally displays the speedometer area while driving. The coolant temperature icon is hidden here - it's a small thermometer symbol with wavy lines beside it. After starting the vehicle, this icon shows the coolant status: blue indicates low temperature, green means normal operating temperature, and if it turns red, stop immediately to check. To see the specific temperature reading, use the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to switch the instrument display pages.
As a seasoned driver with three years of experience driving the Emgrand, here's a handy tip: don't rush to drive off immediately after starting the car. Focus on the right side of the instrument panel. The water temperature gauge isn't standalone—it's integrated into the trip computer display. When the engine is cold, a blue water temperature light will appear, especially noticeable in winter. The disappearance of the blue light indicates the water temperature has normalized. If a red water temperature warning icon suddenly appears while driving, pull over immediately—last year, a friend of mine neglected this and ended up needing an engine overhaul.
The new Emgrand comes standard with a full LCD instrument cluster across all trims, requiring a different approach to check coolant temperature. On the right-side multifunction steering wheel controls, press the left/right directional buttons to navigate to the vehicle information page (indicated by a car icon). This screen displays real-time coolant temperature readings with 1°C precision. Traditional blue/red warning symbols also appear simultaneously in the status bar at the top of the cluster. Note that temperatures exceeding 95°C trigger red alerts - a far more intuitive system than analog gauge readings.
