Where is the warm air flap in the new Sagitar?

The warm air flap in the new Sagitar is located on the servo motor, which is inside the air conditioning system. To inspect the warm air flap and servo motor, the entire center console needs to be removed. The new Sagitar is equipped with two types of engines: a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine and a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine. The 1.2-liter turbocharged engine delivers 116 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque, with a maximum power output between 5,000 to 6,000 rpm and peak torque available from 1,500 to 4,500 rpm. The 1.4-liter turbocharged engine produces 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, with maximum power achieved between 5,000 to 6,000 rpm and peak torque available from 1,750 to 3,000 rpm. Both engines are paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and feature direct fuel injection technology, utilizing aluminum alloy cylinder heads and blocks.
Last time I was fixing the air conditioning in my new Sagitar, I spent quite a while figuring out that the position of the heater flap is actually quite hidden—it's behind the dashboard, near the firewall. To locate it, you first need to remove the glove box, then feel along the air conditioning duct. The flap is inside the heater housing, controlling the hot air like a blade to prevent it from coming out. It was a bit of a hassle to inspect because the space was tight, making it hard to maneuver tools inside. In the end, the flap got stuck, causing unstable heating in the car—this issue is most common in winter, especially after long-term use, as the flap linkage might rust or the plastic parts could age and break. During routine maintenance, it's best to ask a mechanic to take a look to avoid being caught off guard and compromising driving safety. In short, before getting started, make sure to have a socket wrench and a small flashlight ready—safety first.
