Where is the Volvo knob ignition and shutdown switch located?

Volvo's shutdown switch is the ENGINE button on the right side of the driver's gear shift. It features a knob-style switch, which is quite innovative. The new Volvo XC90 is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power output of 235kW and a maximum horsepower of 320PS. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Function of the Volvo ignition switch START position: This is the starting position. When the key is turned to this position, the starter circuit is activated, causing the engine to run and start. Upon release, the key automatically returns to the ON position. The START position is for engine starting, and after starting, it automatically returns to the normal state, which is the ON position. Function of the Volvo ignition switch LOCK position: This is the locking position. At this position, the key can be inserted or removed. All circuits except for the anti-theft system and interior lights are completely turned off, and the steering wheel is locked. After locking, the key remains in the LOCK state, where the ignition switch not only locks the steering but also cuts off all vehicle power.
I've been driving a Volvo for several years, and the ignition knob is located on the driver's side of the center console, just in front of the gear shift. The silver textured knob is particularly eye-catching. To start the car, just step on the brake and turn it clockwise, and to turn it off, simply twist it counterclockwise. At first, you might need to search for it, but once you get used to it, operating it blindly is very convenient, and it's much more elegant than traditional key ignition. There's also a safety detail in this design: if you forget to shift to P before turning off the engine, the system will automatically correct it. Occasionally, when friends drive my car, I have to show them where the knob is first. Now, the new XC60 has made the knob even more refined, with an anti-slip surface that doesn't slip even when wearing gloves in winter.
