Where is the trunk button on the Golf door?

The trunk button on the Golf door is located next to the driver's storage compartment. The trunk can also be operated via the smart key or the trunk emblem. Pressing the trunk emblem to automatically open the trunk is only available on certain models. The trunk features include intelligent anti-pinch function, manual/automatic opening, emergency closing function in case of emergencies, and height memory function. The Golf has a length of 4199mm, width of 1786mm, height of 1479mm, and a wheelbase of 2578mm. In terms of safety systems, the car is equipped with sine curve laser welding technology, pre-tensioned seat belts, head and knee airbags, ISOFIX Top Tether child seat interface, and other features.
I've been driving Golf for many years, from the fifth generation to the current eighth generation. The trunk release button on the door has consistently been positioned on the inner side of the driver's door panel, near the lower part of the door handle. A light press easily opens the trunk. This is a very user-friendly design by Volkswagen, eliminating the hassle of fumbling for keys. The placement on the inner side of the driver's door ensures easy reach without twisting your body, making it both safe and efficient. On a related note, if it suddenly stops working, it might be due to a loose wiring connection or dust accumulation on the button. A simple wipe or checking the fuse box usually solves the issue. In daily use, I frequently use it after shopping at supermarkets. The thoughtful positioning ensures quick operation in emergencies while minimizing the risk of accidental activation while driving.
