On regular roads: In case of a breakdown or traffic accident, the triangle warning sign should be placed 50 to 100 meters behind the vehicle; On highways: The warning sign should be placed at least 150 meters behind the vehicle. In rainy or foggy weather: If it is rainy or foggy, the distance should be increased to 200 meters. Triangle warning sign: The triangle warning sign, also known as the triangle caution sign, is a passive reflector made of plastic reflective material. When a driver stops for emergency repairs or encounters an accident on the road, the reflective properties of the triangle warning sign can alert other vehicles to take evasive action, thereby preventing secondary accidents.

I've been driving the Baojun 510, and the triangle warning sign is securely fixed in a dedicated slot on the left inner wall of the trunk. The design is very sturdy, so there's no need to worry about it shaking or getting lost. I remember once when I had a tire blowout on the highway, I quickly took it out and placed it about 50 meters behind the car—it worked really well as a warning. Before every trip, I always check to make sure it's in place and that the folding mechanism is intact—safety comes first, after all. The trunk space is quite large, but don't pile up clutter that might block it, or you won't be able to get it out in an emergency. If you can't find its position, just flip through the user manual—there's a helpful diagram inside.

From a safety perspective, a warning triangle is an essential emergency tool. In my Baojun 510, it is stored in the inner wall bracket on the right side of the trunk. When using it, place it 50-100 meters behind the vehicle, adjusting the distance appropriately based on road conditions, and ensure the reflective side faces forward to prevent rear-end collisions. I recommend checking during each maintenance session whether the bracket is loose and if the warning triangle is damaged or aged, replacing it promptly if necessary. There is also a tool kit in the trunk that can be maintained along with the warning triangle. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures may cause deformation, so it's advisable to take it out and clean it periodically.

When I first got the Baojun 510, I was also curious about where to place the warning triangle. I asked the 4S store, and they said it's in the clip on the inside of the trunk lid—you can see it as soon as you open the trunk. I learned how to fold and unfold it, and when placing it, you need to put it further away by the roadside. Usually, check the trunk to make sure it's not being pressed, otherwise, it might not open when you need it. Beginners should practice operating it a few times in the garage to avoid panicking in emergencies.
