Where is the transmission oil filler port for the Haval H7?

The transmission oil filler port for the Haval H7 is located at the bottom of the transmission. Hazards of not changing transmission oil: 1. Damage to the transmission's shift control mechanism; 2. Abnormal wear of gears and clutch plates inside the transmission; 3. Affects the normal operation of the transmission, leading to damage of the transmission valve body. Transmission oil is different from engine oil. Although both oils serve a lubricating function, they have different effects and should not be confused. Differences: Engine oil is a lubricant for the engine system, possessing certain properties such as oxidation resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion prevention. Transmission oil, on the other hand, is mainly used to keep the gear system clean and extend the service life of internal transmission components. Because the structure and operating environment of the transmission and the engine are different, transmission oil cannot be used as engine oil, nor can engine oil be used as transmission oil.
Last time I helped my colleague add transmission fluid to his Haval H7, it took some time to locate the filler port. After opening the hood, look carefully at the left side of the engine compartment towards the transmission housing - you'll find a round plastic cap, possibly marked with ATF, which is the filler port. You'll need a special wrench to unscrew the cap - don't apply excessive force to avoid damaging the threads. I recommend first cleaning the surrounding area with a cloth before pouring new fluid, otherwise contaminants could enter and damage internal transmission components. Add the fluid slowly in small increments to ensure proper fluid level - both overfilling and underfilling will affect shift smoothness. If unsure about the location, check the owner's manual for diagrams or take a photo to confirm with a repair shop. Regular transmission fluid changes significantly extend service life - never neglect this maintenance.
