Where is the Tesla Shutdown Switch Located?

Tesla is a pure electric vehicle, and the so-called shutdown refers to cutting off the power supply. Therefore, it does not have a shutdown switch. To shut it down, simply cut off the power supply. Introduction to Tesla vehicles: 1. Model 3: Safety is the top priority in the overall design of the Model 3. The body structure uses a combination of steel and aluminum to ensure the support strength of each part. In an internal rollover test, the Model 3 successfully withstood four times its own weight in pressure, approximately equivalent to the weight of two adult African elephants, even with a panoramic glass roof installed. 2. Model Y: The vehicle's center of gravity is located in the middle of the bottom, featuring a high-strength body structure and ample impact buffer zones, effectively reducing the risk of injury. The all-wheel-drive system is equipped with two ultra-responsive independent motors, digitally controlling the torque of the front and rear wheels with precision, providing excellent traction and stability, making it easy to handle rain, snow, mud, or off-road conditions.
Tesla doesn't have a traditional ignition switch because it's a fully electric vehicle without an internal combustion engine like conventional cars. Normally, after parking, I directly operate through the central touchscreen control panel in the car. Look for the power icon in the upper right or lower right corner of the screen, tap it and select 'Power Off' or a similar option to shut down the vehicle. If you have a key card handy, you can also lightly touch the induction area below the instrument panel for quick shutdown. Make sure the car is securely parked in the P (Park) position, otherwise the operation won't work. This design is quite convenient, eliminating the hassle of mechanical switches, though it took me some time to get used to it initially. The key thing to remember is that after shutdown, the system automatically enters power-saving mode with all functions disabled. A little tip: if the screen becomes unresponsive, check whether the vehicle is completely powered off - you might need to reboot the system to resolve lag issues, which has happened to me once or twice in my usage experience.
