Where is the sunroof drain outlet located on the Besturn B70?

The sunroof drain outlet of the Besturn B70 is located inside the A-pillar and C-pillar of the car. Most vehicles position their sunroof drain outlets in these areas. Additionally, cars have other drain outlets, including the air conditioning drain outlet, engine compartment drain outlet, door drain outlet, fuel tank drain outlet, and exhaust pipe drain outlet. Air conditioning drain outlet: The air conditioning drain outlet is located below the condenser in the cabin. Once you locate the condenser in the cabin, you can find the drain outlet. The purpose of the air conditioning drain outlet is to expel water condensed during the heat exchange process when the air conditioning is in use. The evaporator continuously absorbs moisture from the surrounding air, which condenses into water and is discharged through the drain outlet. This explains why a puddle of water often appears under the car after the air conditioning has been running for a while. Engine compartment drain outlet: The engine compartment drain outlet is positioned on both sides of the front windshield wipers, typically one on each side. Since the engine compartment is a relatively open environment, wastewater and debris can flow into it along the windshield. Door drain outlet: The door drain outlet is located along the lower edge of the car door. Its function is to drain water that enters the door during rain. Rainwater can seep into the door through gaps between the door seals and windows. When the door is opened, the accumulated water inside will drain out through the door drain outlet. Fuel tank drain outlet: The fuel tank drain outlet can be seen from below only after refueling and opening the fuel tank cap. However, since dust and sand can accumulate near the fuel tank cap, a blockage could damage the fuel tank. Therefore, it is recommended to use stiff objects like steel wires or high-pressure air to clear any blockages during maintenance. Exhaust pipe drain outlet: The exhaust pipe typically has three drain outlets. The first is at the tailpipe, which is the most common and effective location for drainage. The second is at the muffler section of the tailpipe, as some mufflers come with built-in drain outlets from the factory. When excess water accumulates in the muffler, it drains out through this outlet. The third drain outlet is located at the connection joint in the middle of the exhaust pipe.
I often help my friends check the sunroof issues on their Bestune B70. The location of the drainage outlets is actually quite easy to find. They are positioned at the four corners of the sunroof frame on the roof—one on each side, including the left front, right front, left rear, and right rear points. There are small holes hidden beneath the sealing strips in these areas. These holes connect to hoses that run down to the chassis to drain rainwater. If not cleaned regularly, fallen leaves or mud can accumulate in the holes, causing water to leak into the car, soaking the carpets or damaging the audio system. I recommend clearing them every six months using compressed air or a thin wire, being careful not to force it to avoid damaging the pipes. I remember once when my car’s headliner got wet after rain—it turned out the rear drainage outlet was clogged. After cleaning it, the problem was resolved. The positions are generally fixed, so before working on them, try pouring a little water to check the flow first.
