Where is the sunroof drain outlet located?

The sunroof drain outlets are generally located at the four corners of the car sunroof. Rainwater will drain out from the A-pillar and C-pillar positions through these outlets. When using the car sunroof, please note the following: 1. Before opening the sunroof, check if there are any obstacles on the roof that might hinder the movement of the glass panel. The sunroof panel is designed to block heat and UV rays. Use a soft cloth and cleaner for cleaning, and avoid using adhesive cleaners. 2. In winter, after snow or car washing, the sunroof glass and sealing rubber frame may freeze. Do not force the sunroof open at this time, as it may damage the sunroof motor and rubber seals. The correct approach is to open the sunroof after snow or car washing and dry any remaining water along the edges. 3. Do not fully open the sunroof on extremely bumpy roads, as the strong vibration between the sunroof and the slide rails may cause deformation of related components or even damage the motor. Additionally, never open the sunroof during rain or when washing the car.
Last time I washed my car myself, I specifically studied this. The sunroof drainage outlets are actually located at all four corners. The most common front drainage outlets are hidden at the front end of the sunroof rails. When you open the sunroof and look forward, there's a small hole at the end of each rail on both sides. The rear ones are near the C-pillars, and some cars also have them on both sides of the rear windshield. The most crucial part is the position at the end of the drainage tubes. The front two tubes usually pass through the firewall in the engine compartment, behind the panel below the wipers, and some are designed with a duckbill-shaped flat outlet. The rear two mostly lead to the inner side of the rear wheel arches, and you can see the black soft tube head by pulling back the rear wheel liner. These outlets are particularly prone to accumulating leaves and mud. I clean them once a month by pouring water from the roof down with a hose to test. If I find the water isn't draining, I have to clear it immediately, otherwise, the car will definitely turn into a fish tank when it rains.
