The spare tire of the Sylphy is located under the partition in the trunk of the car. Placing it here is convenient as it can be directly taken out when needed for replacement, and it does not occupy other storage space. A spare tire refers to an additional tire prepared for the car. In case of a flat tire or any issue with any of the wheels, the spare tire can be promptly replaced, preventing the car from breaking down midway. The Sylphy is a compact car under Dongfeng Nissan, with dimensions of 4641 mm in length, 1815 mm in width, and 1450 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2712 mm. In terms of suspension, the Sylphy features a MacPherson strut independent front suspension and a torsion beam non-independent rear suspension.

I've been driving a Sylphy for five years, and the spare tire location is indeed quite hidden. You need to lift up the trunk floorboard and look for a circular cover near the seat area. Twist the central bolt firmly to remove it, then pull open the cover to access the spare tire. Remember there's a foam box next to the spare containing the jack and tool kit - this set can be neatly stored in the trunk compartment. I recommend checking the spare tire pressure monthly as it tends to lose pressure over time when unused. Note that this vehicle comes with a temporary spare (space-saver tire) which shouldn't exceed 80 km/h. When retrieving the spare, it's best to empty the trunk first - last time I found mine blocked by piled-up items.

Checking the spare tire on the Nissan Sylphy is quite simple. Open the trunk and lift the floor mat, and you'll find a circular cover in the center. Rotate the metal nut counterclockwise to open it. The spare tire is secured in a recess, with a yellow plastic wrench and jack tucked beside it. To remove it, press down on the tire tread and pull outward, otherwise it might get stuck on the wheel rim edge. Nissan's wheel holder has a small mechanism. The spare tire is much narrower than the original, so avoid using it on highways for temporary purposes. Nowadays, many cars have replaced spare tires with tire repair kits, but the Sylphy's traditional setup feels more reassuring.

The Nissan Sylphy's spare tire is hidden in the lower compartment of the trunk. Lift the carpet to reveal a black plastic cover, then unscrew the large silver nut counterclockwise to access it. Around the spare tire well, you'll find the triangular warning sign and jack securely stored. Remember to engage the parking brake and shift into 'P' before changing tires - there's an illustrated guide on the side of the spare tire well. Important reminder: the spare tread depth is only about 5mm, so don't exceed 100km of driving. Once I encountered a fellow driver using a flat spare tire - he didn't realize the car comes with an electric air pump. When retrieving tools, remember to first remove the foam storage tray.

Where is the handbrake of the Bora?

The handbrake of the Bora is located near the center console. Introduction to the handbrake: The professional term for the handbrake is auxiliary brake. Unlike the principle of the main brake, it uses a steel cable connected to the rear brake shoes to brake the vehicle. Long-term use of the handbrake can cause plastic deformation of the steel cable. Since this deformation is irreversible, prolonged use will reduce its effectiveness, and the handbrake's travel will also increase. Components of the handbrake: It consists of a brake lever, cable, brake mechanism, and return spring, acting on the drive shaft or rear wheel brakes to achieve vehicle stability. Electronic handbrake working principle: It is activated or deactivated via a button, and the electronic handbrake can be engaged under any vehicle condition.

Does filling up the gas tank in summer affect the car?

Filling up the gas tank in summer does affect the car. Here are the specific details: 1. Driving safety: The car's fuel tank has a vent hole at the top. If the tank is filled to the brim, gasoline can easily overflow from the vent hole. 2. Tank deformation: The fuel tank has a fixed capacity, and leaving some space prevents gasoline expansion. If the tank is overfilled, gasoline will expand due to heat from the sun, which can deform the tank. 3. Vehicle performance: More gasoline increases the vehicle's weight, requiring the engine to consume more fuel to move the car. 4. Other effects: It can severely reduce the performance of the carbon canister, leading to engine shaking, increased fuel consumption, faster gasoline evaporation, and gasoline odors entering the cabin, which can harm health with long-term exposure.
