The SD card slot for the Cadillac CT6 dash cam is located on the right side of the rear compartment inside the trunk. The slot in the trunk is for the added streaming media. Below is a brief introduction to the Cadillac CT6: CT6's Rearview Mirror: The Cadillac CT6 was the first to use a technology called streaming media video rearview mirror. This mirror features a TFT-LCD display with a resolution of 1280*240. An external rearview camera captures the view behind the vehicle and feeds it to the interior rearview mirror. The streaming media video rearview mirror can expand the rear visibility range by three times. CT6's Exterior: The Cadillac CT6's exterior draws inspiration from some design concepts of the Elmiraj concept car. It features a flatter, wider, and more layered shield-shaped grille. The headlights have an aggressive design, combined with Cadillac's classic diamond-cut design elements, giving the front a very dynamic appearance. On the side profile, the CT6's body lines are smooth, with two waistlines designed to enhance the visual sportiness. CT6's Body Structure: The Cadillac CT6 is built on the all-new Omega rear-wheel-drive platform. 64% of the body frame is constructed from aluminum alloy materials, reducing the weight by 99 kilograms compared to an all-steel body.

Last time I helped a friend locate the CT6 dashcam SD slot, it took some searching too. Typically in this car, it's hidden near the rearview mirror area. Look up at the backside of the interior rearview mirror - there's a small cover on the windshield side that can be pried open with a fingernail. Inside you'll find the SD card slot. Luxury cars often use this discreet design to maintain clean dashboard aesthetics. Remember to use a high-speed card (32GB or above), otherwise 4K recording will lag. When inserting, place the card metal-side down and push gently until you hear a click. Leaving the card inserted long-term may cause poor contact - it's best to remove and clean the gold contacts with alcohol swabs monthly. The USB port in the glovebox is for card reading - don't confuse it with the SD slot.

Do I Need to Replace the Antifreeze in a New Car During Winter?

Generally, there is no need to replace the antifreeze in a new car during winter. Under normal circumstances, antifreeze is typically replaced every two years, so a new car may not require antifreeze replacement. However, the decision should be made flexibly based on the vehicle's usage environment. It is recommended that car owners consult relevant personnel at the 4S store in a timely manner to avoid vehicle issues during winter. Antifreeze prevents the coolant from freezing when the car is parked in cold winter, which could otherwise cause the radiator to crack or the engine cylinder block to freeze. Its full name is antifreeze coolant. Many people think that antifreeze is only used in winter, but in fact, it should be used all year round. Before adding car antifreeze, it is necessary to check whether there is any leakage in the car engine's cooling system. If no leakage is found after inspection, the car owner can proceed with the next steps.
