The radiator of the Nissan Qashqai is located in the front engine compartment. I've been driving a Qashqai, and the radiator is located right at the front of the car. When you pop the hood, you'll see a rectangular metal mesh structure facing you—that's the radiator core. It's sandwiched between the condenser and the fan, with two thick coolant hoses attached to it. During summer when the AC is on, it works extra hard to blow out the engine heat. If the hood feels scalding after a highway drive, you should check if the radiator fins are clogged with insect debris—poor cooling can easily make the engine overheat. Remember to rinse the gaps between the radiator fins with a low-pressure hose during regular car washes; avoid using stiff brushes as the aluminum fins are quite delicate.
