Where is the oil located on the dipstick?

Oil is located between the upper and lower limits on the dipstick. The dipstick is usually found on the engine cover, typically with an orange or red handle. The method to check is: 1. Pull it out and wipe off the oil with a tissue; 2. Insert it again, then pull it out to check the oil level—if it's within the marked range, it's normal. The dipstick measures the static oil level height, indicating whether the engine oil level is within a reasonable range. Standard dipsticks have clear upper and lower limits; just ensure the measured oil level is between these marks. Since the dipstick insertion hole has a curved path, the dipstick must be able to deform when inserted and rebound when pulled out.
When checking the oil dipstick, the oil level should be between the high and low marks, preferably closer to the high mark. I usually check it every week or two to ensure proper engine protection. First, turn off the engine and wait a few minutes for it to cool down. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean with a cloth, reinsert it, then pull it out again to see where the oil mark is. If it's below the low mark, you need to add some oil. If it's too high, there might be too many impurities mixed in, so take it to a repair shop immediately. Incorrect oil levels can affect engine lifespan. Like last time when I neglected it, I almost had a serious problem. Now I've made it a habit to check regularly—it saves money and ensures safety. Remember, always perform this check on level ground, not on a slope. If you're a beginner and unsure, refer to the vehicle manual or look up instructional videos online.
