The oil filter on the 2018 AX7 is located near the engine, possibly on either side or underneath. The oil filter, also known as the oil purifier, functions to remove impurities, gums, and moisture from the engine oil, delivering clean oil to all lubrication points. The 2018 AX7, developed and manufactured by Dongfeng Fengshen, is a self-owned brand SUV model with body dimensions of 4696mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1712mm in height. The 2018 AX7 features the Interactive Geometry 2.0 design concept, incorporating a new track emblem, luxurious matrix full-LED headlights, an IHBC intelligent high-beam control system, Wind Wing independent LED daytime running lights, a full-LED continuous family-style taillight strip, 19-inch aero rims paired with Pirelli tires, enabling it to handle various complex road conditions with ease.

I've driven the 2018 Dongfeng Fengshen AX7 several times, and the oil filter is located at the front lower part of the engine compartment, near the oil pan. Usually, after squatting down or raising the vehicle, you can see a round metal cylinder slightly to the left in the center of the chassis—that's the oil filter. It's recommended to wait until the engine cools down before replacing it to avoid burns. After securely supporting the vehicle with a jack, use a dedicated filter wrench to loosen the old oil filter by turning it counterclockwise, and remember to place an oil drain pan underneath to prevent leaks. Before installing the new filter, apply a bit of oil to the sealing ring for better sealing. The location is quite user-friendly, making DIY replacement convenient. I typically check it every 8,000 kilometers. Remember not to overtighten it, as that can make removal difficult next time, and be careful not to let tools touch other components—simplicity and safety are key.

Is the Lexus Transmission AT or CVT?

Lexus ES uses two types of transmissions: one is a CVT transmission, and the other is an 8AT transmission. The transmission is a crucial component in a car. Without it, the car cannot operate normally. Both CVT and AT transmissions are common automatic transmissions, but they differ in working principles and structures. Extended information about transmissions is as follows: 1. CVT Transmission: The internal structure of a CVT transmission is very simple, consisting of only two cone pulleys and a steel belt. The steel belt can move along the cone pulleys, allowing the transmission to change gears. CVT transmissions offer relatively smoother gear shifts, better reliability, and durability. They are also compact in size and lighter in weight. 2. AT Transmission: An AT transmission, also known as a torque converter transmission, connects to the engine via a torque converter. It contains multiple planetary gears, which are used to change speed and torque. The Lexus ES is a mid-to-large-sized car under the Lexus brand, equipped with two engines: a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine. The 2.0-liter engine delivers 173 horsepower and a maximum torque of 208 Nm.

How many points will be deducted for speeding at 130 km/h on the highway?

How many points will be deducted for speeding on the highway depends on how much the vehicle's speed exceeds the legal limit. Any speed exceeding 10% of the legal limit will result in point deductions, with varying penalties for different ranges. Below is the point deduction standard for highways with a speed limit of 120 km/h: 1. If the vehicle's speed is between 132 km/h and 144 km/h: This constitutes exceeding the speed limit by more than 10% but less than 20%, resulting in a fine and 3 points deducted. 2. If the vehicle's speed is between 144 km/h and 156 km/h: This constitutes exceeding the speed limit by more than 20% but less than 30%, resulting in a fine and 6 points deducted. 3. If the vehicle's speed is between 156 km/h and 180 km/h: This constitutes exceeding the speed limit by more than 30% but less than 50%, resulting in a fine and 6 points deducted. 4. If the vehicle's speed is between 180 km/h and 240 km/h: This constitutes exceeding the speed limit by more than 50% but less than 70%, resulting in a fine, 12 points deducted, and possible license suspension. 5. If the vehicle's speed exceeds 240 km/h: This constitutes exceeding the speed limit by more than 70%, resulting in a fine, 12 points deducted, and possible license suspension.

Is Li Auto a Hybrid or Pure Electric?

Li Auto's Li ONE is an extended-range electric vehicle. Although this car has an internal combustion engine, the engine does not directly drive the wheels. Instead, it is used to power a generator that charges the battery. Here are some details about the Li ONE: 1. Introduction to Li ONE: The Li ONE is a mid-to-large-sized SUV with a wheelbase of 2935 mm, and its length, width, and height are 5020 mm, 1960 mm, and 1760 mm, respectively. The Li ONE is equipped with a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that delivers 131 horsepower and reaches its maximum power output at 5500 rpm. This engine features direct fuel injection technology and uses an aluminum alloy cylinder head and block. 2. Dual-Motor Configuration: The Li ONE is a dual-motor vehicle, with motors on both the front and rear axles. The front motor has a maximum power output of 100 kW and a maximum torque of 240 Nm, while the rear motor delivers a maximum power of 140 kW and a maximum torque of 290 Nm. The Li ONE uses a ternary lithium battery, which is commonly found in most pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

What is the voltage of new energy vehicles?

Low-speed electric vehicle battery packs have three voltage options: 48V, 60V, and 72V, while high-speed electric vehicle battery packs typically range from 380V to 560V. Below is more information about new energy vehicles: 1. New energy vehicle batteries: Power batteries with high specific energy offer good endurance, enabling long working hours and extended range; whereas those with high specific power provide fast speeds by delivering high instantaneous current to ensure vehicle acceleration performance. Generally, a single battery cannot simultaneously possess both high specific energy and high specific power. 2. Battery lifespan: For power batteries, the consistency of the battery and the number of charge-discharge cycles directly determine the vehicle's service life. Battery consistency refers to the deviation degree of key indicators such as weight, voltage, and internal resistance among individual batteries of the same model. The greater the deviation, the poorer the consistency. In fact, new energy vehicle batteries are composed of numerous individual batteries connected in series and parallel to form a battery pack. The more series connections there are, the greater the inconsistency amplification factor, resulting in shorter battery lifespan. 3. Principle of new energy vehicle batteries: Power batteries mainly consist of positive electrodes, negative electrodes, electrolytes, separators, etc., requiring high energy density, long lifespan, and reliable safety. Their working principle involves the movement of electrons generated by chemical reactions between the positive and negative electrode materials and the electrolyte, thereby producing electric current.

Where is the OBD interface located in the old Bora?

Volkswagen Bora's OBD interface is located next to the car battery in the engine compartment. It is used to connect to the car diagnostic computer, allowing for checking vehicle faults through this interface. Additionally, some hidden functions of the car's computer can be modified or activated via this interface. Extended information about the Volkswagen Bora OBD interface is as follows: 1. Function: The OBD onboard diagnostic system must have the capability to identify areas that may have faults and store this information in the electronic control unit's memory in the form of fault codes. OBD is a system that monitors emission-related functions and components using hardware or software and alerts the driver through the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) and DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) for necessary inspection and repair. 2. Note: Car owners should be aware that the OBD interface should not be used indiscriminately. There was a case where a car owner connected a laptop to the OBD interface of a Bora 1.8T to test real-time data such as the turbo. Unexpectedly, an issue arose. Due to the limited battery life of the laptop, it automatically shut down while the car was in motion, causing the vehicle to stall at the same moment the laptop turned off, which can be quite dangerous.
