The OBD port on the Buick Envision is located under the steering wheel on the driver's side of the dashboard. OBD stands for On-Board Diagnostics, which translates to the onboard automatic diagnostic system in Chinese. I used to check my car by myself frequently. The OBD port of the Buick Envision is located on the left side under the steering wheel. Squat down and look towards the bottom of the dashboard, it's near the area above the brake pedal - a black trapezoidal 16-pin port, somewhat resembling an old printer port but smaller. Sometimes the steering wheel may block the view, so you can adjust the seat backward a bit to make it easier to locate. The port position is quite considerate in design, preventing leg contact when plugging/unplugging the diagnostic tool, but be careful not to step on the connected cable. Also, I've noticed that dust accumulation occasionally causes poor contact; simply clean it with compressed air. It's best to operate with the engine off to avoid short circuits.
