Where is the OBD interface of the Sagitar located?

The OBD interface of the Volkswagen Sagitar is located at the bottom of the headlight adjustment button, in light purple. Purpose of OBD: There are two purposes: to locate and describe faulty parts and components for easy maintenance; and to alert faults that may cause excessive emissions, indicating an increase in environmental impact from pollutant emissions. Its function is to monitor the engine's operating status and the working condition of the exhaust treatment system in real-time. OBD real-time monitoring tool components: EGR, engine, particulate trap, catalytic converter, oxygen sensor, emission control system, fuel system, and other systems and components.
Last time I had a hard time finding the Sagitar's OBD port too, turns out it's hidden just below the left side of the steering wheel. When you're in the driver's seat, adjust it backward slightly and look down toward the base of the steering column - it's basically located above the left side of the brake pedal. You can feel a plastic cover with your hand, lift it to reveal the 16-pin black trapezoidal port. Some new owners think it's in the glove compartment, but actually Volkswagen series mostly place it on the driver's side. A reminder: always turn off the engine before plugging in OBD devices to avoid voltage fluctuations that might blow fuses. Also, since the port is quite concealed, using your phone's flashlight is recommended during search. Avoid yanking the wiring harness forcefully as the clips there are quite fragile.
Friends driving the Sagitar who want to know the OBD port location, it's right in front of your left knee when seated in the driver's seat, about 10 cm inward from the lower edge of the steering wheel. Bend down and look in from the door gap direction, and you'll see a trapezoidal black socket with a dust cover. When searching, it's advisable to adjust the steering wheel to its lowest position for more space. The design of this location is quite reasonable—it doesn't block your legs or get in the way, just be careful not to get the cable caught by the pedals when connecting. Personally, I recommend using a spring cable extender to connect devices to avoid frequent bending. For older Sagitar models, the port might be slightly higher, but post-2009 models are generally unified in this location. Remember to turn off the engine before plugging or unplugging—I've seen cases where short circuits during ECU data modification fried the motherboard.
