Where is the OBD interface of GAC Honda?

GAC Honda's OBD interface is located on the lower left side of the dashboard in the driver's seat. Introduction to OBD: OBD stands for On-Board Diagnostics, which can detect the working conditions of the engine and other components during vehicle operation. OBD monitors the engine, catalytic converter, particulate filter, oxygen sensor, emission control system, fuel system, EGR, and other systems and components in real-time. It then connects to the ECU through information related to different emission-related components. When an emission fault occurs, the ECU records the fault information and related codes and issues a warning through the fault light to inform the driver. Function of OBD: This system continuously monitors whether the vehicle's exhaust exceeds the standard during engine operation and issues an immediate warning if it does. When a system fault occurs, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or Check Engine warning light will illuminate, and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) will store the fault information in memory. The fault code can be read from the PCM through a specific procedure. Based on the fault code, maintenance personnel can quickly and accurately determine the nature and location of the fault.
