Simply remove the decorative panel next to the engine compartment cover to reveal the OBD interface. OBD Interface: OBD stands for On-Board Diagnostics, which translates to "on-board automatic diagnostic system" in Chinese. This system continuously monitors the engine's operating conditions to detect whether the vehicle's emissions exceed standards. If they do, it immediately issues a warning. When a system malfunction occurs, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or Check Engine warning light will illuminate, and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) will store the fault information in memory. The fault code can be read from the PCM using a specific procedure. Based on the fault code, maintenance personnel can quickly and accurately determine the nature and location of the fault. Jetour X70 Powertrain: The Jetour X70 is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine, model SQRE4T15B, delivering a maximum power of 108 kW (147 hp) and a peak torque of 210 Nm. This engine was jointly developed by Chery and AVL. It is reported that engineers optimized the combustion system, cooling system, and reduced friction during development, achieving a thermal efficiency of 37.1% for the new engine.
